Cooperation Research

The COMMUNIGRAM-NET Network of Excellence promotes cooperative theoritical and applied research between its core partners on the following research areas: social project management, collective intelligence, and dynamic organizational collaborative knowledge creation and management. A series of use cases (Demos) evolved within the consortium around will be chosen.

Spreading Excellence.

COMMUNIGRAM-NET aims at spreading the Network’s excellence in integrative efforts, technology transfer, scientific results, and training. Dissemination actions are focused on the following groups of people: academics, communities from industry/business, and the nonspecialist citizen.

Methodology Development

The management methodology used with Communigram is called "Business Communication Engineering" (BCE). Since communication is a main driver of business success (and the absence of it, indeed, reputedly the reason for so many failures), the principle of BCE is to improve the performance of organizations by actively managing (engineering) communication within the organization as well as with other organizations.

This principle opens doors for many reflections of major scientific interest and many practical applications. One of the main activities of this network is hence to see how BCE can be applied to solve business problems and where its shortcomings are, and to design, develop and test new methodological modules in an "action research" approach.

Tool Conception & Design

The new era of information technology has created numerous new possibilities which can be leveraged and capitalized upon to create tools to implement Business Communication Engineering and integrate this methodology with existing approaches and our ever-evolving digital lifestyle. This is a vast field of research that goes into topics such as:

  • Ergonomics and Usability
  • Design
  • Architecture
