An Open Letter to the Members of Communigram.NET

Dear members of the Communigram-Net Network of Excellence,

For more than a decade, I have been working together with my colleagues in developing this crazy new idea of organizing projects by literally "drawing" the communication between people. It's been a rough ride, but an extremely pleasing and satisfying one. I have witnessed that truly interesting things in management are seldom developed in universities, or in private organizations. But when the two come together, everything is possible.

Through the years, I have had the pleasure to work with so many people in both academia and business, and each encounter produced more exiting new knowledge (and even more interesting new questions and challenges!).

The Communigram-Net NoE brings this interaction to an entirely new level. By creating a central platform on which people from so many different backgrounds can exchange their experiences and develop new ideas, I am confident that the evolution of the methodology and its tools will increase by leaps and bounds. One of the first actions for the NoE will be to define its objectives, values and strategy. This in itself will be an elating process, I'm sure.

I know my objective, it has never changed: "Make Communigram/BCE a management methodology that is known everywhere in the world." I also know that together, we can make this happen, and have a lot of fun on the way.

Sincerely,

Kenneth Brown
